SCA Environmental School Grant Program Apply by September 15, 2008 for consideration SCA Tissue North America is a company with a demonstrated and strong environmental focus. Part of our commitment is to support increased environmental education in our schools. As such, we are proud to announce the second round of our Environmental Education Grant Program. The first round of grants honored 15 schools nationwide with nearly $30,000 in grant dollars awarded. We expect the second round to be as successful. The Environmental Grants will provide funding to schools in the regions where SCA has office and plant sites (Neenah/Menasha, Wisconsin; Alsip, Illinois; Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties, New York, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Flagstaff and Bellemont, Arizona and the Shoals area, Alabama). These grants, in amounts ranging from $250 to $2,500, can be used to fund school programs and projects that focus on environmental education. Schools can apply using the grant application HERE. Applications for the next round of grants are due no later than September 15, 2008.
