SCA Tissue's record of sustainable development speaks for itself. At SCA Tissue we take our role as a model corporate citizen very seriously, making sure we maintain a position of environmental leadership by:

• Incorporating sustainable business practices across the entire organization
• Preserving and protecting the environment for future generations
• Measuring our results using a holistic approach

Because SCA Tissue is one of the top three manufacturers of away-from-home tissue products in North America, it has the capacity to make significant reductions in environmental impacts. For example:

• Nearly all of our products manufactured from internally produced base paper are 100 percent recycled.
• SCA Tissue annually recycles more than 700,000 tons of paper. Of this, 200,000 tons consists of post-consumer recyclables.
• With our "mill of origin" program, we have reduced the number of miles our products travel prior to delivery to customers, which has saved more than 328,000 gallons of diesel.
